The Distance

Sat Nov 28, 2009, 7:22 PM

While I was snuggling with my boyfriend, I told him I loved him.
He said "Love you too," kissing my cheek.
Of course my response was "Love you more."
But I was only to be outdone by "I love you most."
Being clever I leaned over him, holding myself up on my elbow, and I point to his nose saying "I love you from here," (while I kissing his nose) I moved my finger to point at the wall, "to there."
For a while we continued like this, the distance getting further, the cheesy-ness getting greater.
After my "turn" he waited. Sitting silently, he stared into my eyes, smiling just a little, and remaining completely motionless.
Quietly, so only I could hear, as if others were listening, he placed his right hand over his heart- "I love you from here," he slowly moved his hand to my heart, touching me gently, never breaking the eye contact we had, "to here."

wow, what a list you have! My friend brooke gave me a number of books to read and most of them i could only get halfway through because i got tired of it for one reason or another. one of my favorite books ever was Duma Key by Stephen King. Are you enjoying Pride and Prejudice? I ask because we just got through with it for english.
:iconjessoso:
haha yep, and some of them I've been told to read and can't remember xD
Oh I've been wanting to start a lot of Stephen King books, My mom used to read a lot of them and she loves them, thinks i will too xD
I am, I also plan on reading sense and sensibility, haha xD I saw the movie so thats why I started reading it, cause I love Darcy xD

i know i do too ^ ^
i want to watch pride and prejudice and havent found the time. we watched the beginning of it in class and it was great.
thats one of the few movies that i was glad to watch first because they gave no character descriptions in the book, haha
Duma Key is my favorite because it involves art :)
ive read his short stories too, like the mist, and those are entertaining as well.

^^
its great, a little confusing if you dont pay total attention (which is why i had to watch it twice- the first time i was throwing markers i believe xD) haha i noticed that! nothing but handsome xD

Then I'll be sure to put that one on my list :P
i heard the mist was good, and im not sure which one it is but my boyfriend has one that he really loves that im gonna barrow his copy

the book is that way to. sometimes its difficult to even tell who's talking

the mist is the one that they made into movie recently. the one with the creatures that come out of the mist. that one is in the Skeleton Crew. there are also many other great short stories in that one, and would be a great way to start off, (although all of his work is entertaining.)
